Yes, listening and communication as well are very important skills a leader should have. If we don't have these, we can't lead a team correctly. If something goes wrong we must try to resolve it... to speak with others. Also, a leader is a responsible person with the head on his shoulders, capable of taking decisions and so on.

I also believe that listening skill is essential for a good leader. A good leader must know how to listen to others opinion, he is not the all knowing person. He cannot make it on its own without others great ideas. Being a leader doesn't mean your always the best. Sometimes a member have a brighter idea than a leader. An effective leader must know that one of the best business consultants is his member.
